What does a funeral director do?

A Funeral Director's role is to meet with families and to get to know them and their loved one who has passed.

A first meeting  would involve talking about your loved ones wishes, what the family would like and how they would like to celebrate their loved ones life. This can be anything from where they would like the service and who would they like to conduct the service: a celebrant or the church.

We also need to go through legal documents to register your loved ones passing.

Our main goal as Funeral Directors is to make sure the family feels at ease and confident that we will have everything organised for that special day.

Following from the initial meeting we will then liaise with our in-house design and catering team. If it is an outside venue, we would liaise with them, on your behalf.

Our priority is to help make a difficult time a little easier.
