Pettigrew Family Funerals: A shared value of generosity

As a family business, we, along with our staff, are proud to support many wonderful local and national charities and organisations. These people, many of which are volunteers, do such good work in our community and we are proud to partner with them financially, as well as offering resource support when we are able. Whether it's new team shirts for a local soccer team, or sponsoring a table at a charity ball, or donating a much needed piece of equipment to a vital research, Pettigrew family funerals are proud to be able to help where we can.

My late husband Ian, was a proud Novocastrian who was actively involved in many charities and organisations. He would be well pleased to see his daughter, Amy Lee, following in his footsteps. She's involved with Lifeline, Gen Collective and is a HMRI Foundation member, as well as on their events and fundraising committee, whose hard work saw them raise over $350,000 in 2022 to assist in the ongoing research of this world-class facility.

In 2016, in memory of Ian, our staff embraced a new workplace giving project. Any amount our staff decided to donate from their weekly salary would be matched by Pettigrew Family Funerals and forwarded to their charity of choice. I've always been proud of my staff, who choose to support the families of our region through their grief and their ongoing generosity shows just what caliber of people they are.
